I read this today. I thought it was inspiring.
Many Holocaust survivors have often wondered why they were spared when so many others died around them. Perhaps Prof. Librescu was spared then, so he could not only build a family and give the world his knowledge, but also as a final act, be there, at V Tech to save the lives of others. Life takes very strange turns, doesn't it?
