Just a little note...
Of the Yom Yerushalayim presentation in school today. The most emotional part was our school guard (a 6'6, 30 yr old, African man)describing what it meant for him to go to Israel with the 8th graders. He described how visiting Yad Vashem made him cry for the first time in 6 years since his father died. He described how meaningful it was to see all the people walking to the Kotel on Friday night, how the Israel he visited was nothing like they describe on TV....etc
If he can feel that much and describe the Holy Land in such a way, why can't we? He made a big point of saying we need to make sure not to take what we have for granted. He is right.
